People see images of humans going through pain, hardship and sacrifice. These images and moments are captured artistically and celebrated by society, where the human is held to the highest regard possible, by the emotions of others. Because of the struggle. This projection has created many of the self sacrificing behaviours that we see all around us today. The underdog syndrome is lit. People assume this hustle is the path they must go down to deeply depict success, power, strength, courage, and growth. "Look I was broke. Here is me broke. Now look at me. After all the blood sweat and tears and no sleep. Look at my riches" "Look I was skinny. Here is me skinny. Now look at me. After all the blood sweat and tears and no sleep. Look at my gains." Nobody cares homie, other than the fragility of your mind, your ego...And the minds You have convinced need to go down the same twisted road as you. There is nothing wrong with doing things to shift ones self to something more suitable for oneself...but the relationship of sacrifice to get it must change. The only sacrifice we should be making, is unto our incessant pretending, bullshit, performing, and unconsciousness. Because in vacancy of the above, spills in a huge love for oneself. An easy love. A patient love. An intelligent love. Nothing but nourishment. You have been taught to try hard. Since when has sacrificing your body, mind and spirit for the approval, opinions, or love of others(including yourself) EVER been a trait of success, power, strength and courage. This is one's ego...killing one's self. ...keeping people overworked, under nourished, under sexed, and sleepy as fuck is the status quo. You arrived here magnificent. Sure, we will all go through trials and tribulations, but celebrating it when you feel your "finally on top" is a disease of sleepiness. It's a similar situation to high 5ing yourself after a wank...not only haven't you truly achieved anything of substance, but you have lost a piece of yourself in the process. In the sacrifice of life force. Chris
