When a man asks me this question, my answer may be a little bit different: I compliment a woman by allowing myself to be a man with her.
A very common question that I get from men is; “Chris how do you compliment a woman?”
Men have the understanding that if they compliment a woman, this is attractive to her. They assume they will have a better chance of impressing her. Most compliments are used as a manipulation tool; A way to get something from somebody else.
When a man asks me this question, my answer may be a little bit different: I compliment a woman by allowing myself to be a man with her. I compliment her by bringing her my deep presence and unwavering attentiveness. I compliment her in the way I look at her...the way I sense her. I compliment a woman in the care that I place onto her when she is in my company. I compliment her by refusing to tolerate any childishness or manipulative behaviour. I compliment a woman by touching upon some of the most beautiful parts of her, which she has never been given the space to fully meet. I compliment her by consistently redirecting her back to her heart. Her bliss. Her wildness. Her freedom.
This is how I compliment a woman. It has absolutely nothing to do with words.
